President Jumper called. the meeting to order and the roll was caliec_ shoeing there mere ;present trustees, S.R.Jum-er, Glenn :helms, G. =. ;lilson, H.A.Robinson, J.C.',,IcCain, Ibsent; Pone. ' The reading of the minutes of the meeting of I,overnber 9th, 1916. was dispensed with. Communications; Communications were read and referred to proper order of b,isiness, UI;FINISFED BUSIiIESS; Rescinding motion of meeting o£ P1ov 6th 1916. On mo ion o' rustee, G.2 son seconded by trustee 31enn Helms a.id carried it was ordered that the motion ma(le, adopted and entered upon 'he minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees, held on the 6th da; of I!ovember, 1916, to offer for sale at private sale 208 of the jetty bonds, being 78- ,"31 000.00 bonds, 26- N5C0.00 bonds; 78-'100.00 bonds, and 26- 8106.25 bonds, aggregating X101,562.50, and instructing the Clerk to notify the State Board of Control and hate Treasurer at Sacramento, California, be, and the said motion is hereby rescinded, vacated and set aside. Advertising sale of Jetty Bonds; On motion of trustee H.A.Robinson seconded by trustee J.C.McCain and carried, the following resolution was adopted: Resolved, that the Tioard of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach offer for sale at private sale, to the highest bidder £or cash, ' but for not less than their par value, and accrued .interest, 208 of the jetty bonds of said city, being 78- T1, 000.00 bonds, 262%,0.00 bonds, 78- 1 0.00 bonds, and 26- 106.25 bonds aggregating w101,562.50, the Board of Trustees, however, to reserve the right to reject any and all bids and shall not be deemed to have agreed to accet)t any bid or to sell said bonds to any bidder. All bids shall be sealed and delivered to the Clerk of the city f Newport Beach -prior to the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of I:ionday, the 4th day of December, 1916, each bid shall be accom- orlied by a check payable to the Treasurer of the city of 11'ewport Beach, certified b� a responsible bank in an amount of at least two per cent of the amount of such bid. The Clerk is hereby instructed to publish notice of sale of said 208 bonds , °or at least two weeks in the llewport Fews, a news- paper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the city of Plev.rport Beach, and. inviting sealed bids as herein pro - vided for, and uo notify the ,fate Board of Control and the .State Treasnrer.at Sacramento Cali£crnia. The roll was called and the foregoing Resolution was passed by the votes of the following named trustees, to -wit: Ayes; Trustees, S.R.Jumper, Glenn Helms, G.P.
