Mayor Cox opened the continued public <br />hearing regarding: <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 87 -1(C) - A <br />request initiated by the City of Newport <br />Beach to amend the LAND USE ELEMENT of <br />the Newport Beach General Plan so as to <br />allow an additional 69,500 sq. ft. of <br />commercial development in FASHION <br />ISLAND, and the acceptance of an <br />Environmental Document; <br />�� 17 <br />GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY DETERMINATION — <br />Determination of Consistency with the <br />provisions of the General Plan so as to <br />allow the transfer of 1350 committed <br />theater seats from Civic Plaza and 350 <br />committed theater seats from Block 300 <br />to Fashion Island; <br />AND <br />PLANNING C014MISSION AMENDMENT NO. 632 <br />(PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 87-45).- Request <br />to establish Planned Community District <br />Regulations and adopt a Planned <br />Community Development Plan for Fashion <br />Island.
