Section i. The compensation Of
the Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach shall be $100 per month; the ' 0r

Section 2. This Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force on the 10th
day of April, 1916, and in the mean
!, time it shall be printed and published
once In the Newport News, a news-
paper of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of Newport
Beach.
The above and foregoing Ordinance
No. 121 was passed at a regular meet-
ing of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beach, held on the
6th day of March, 1916, and on said
day was signed and approved by the
President of said Board of Trustees,
the same being passed by the vote of
the following named members of said
Board of Trustees, to -wit:
Ayes— Trustees W. K. Parkinson, S.
R. Jumper, H. A. Robinson, C. H. Way,
G. P. Wilson.
Noes —None.
Absent —None.
The above and foregoing Ordinance
NO. 121 is approved by me this 6th
day of March, 1916.
