Beach establishing the grades of a portion of Surf Ave. within the said
City.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do ordain
I
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the official grade of Surf Ave. along the northerly line of
said Surf Ave. between the easterly line of B- Street and a point in the n
herly line of said Surf Ave., which point is 212.94 feet easterly of the
easterly line of E- Street, within the said City, r$ beand the same is her
established as follows:
At the north -oast corner of B*- Street and Surf Ave., the grade sl
be 113.00 feet; i
At the north -west corner of C- Street and Surf Ave. the grade shai .
be 113.00 feet.;
At the north -east corner of C- Street and Surf Ave., the grade shl,
be 113.00 feet;
At the north -west corner of D- Street and Surf Ave., the grade shj
be 113.00 feet)
At the north -east corner of D- Street and Surf Ave, the grade shai
be 113.00 feet;
At the north-west corner of E- Street and Surf Ave. the grade sh&
bell3.00 feet. I
At the north -east corner of E- Street and Surf Ave. the grade sha:
be 113.00 feet.
At a point in tho northerly line of said Surf Ave. 212.94 feet f'
easterly of the easterly line of E- Street, the grade shall be 113.00 ft.
The elevation herein given are for the top of the sidewalk, are
in Poet and are above the City Datum Plane, as heretofore adopted and
established. At all points between cosecutive designated points on the
same side of said Surf Ave., the grade shall conform to a true and unifort
gradient along the northerly property line of said Surf Ave. between said
designated points. All distances between designated points for which thel
grade is herein established are to be measured along the northerly proper
line, unless specifically herein otherwise provided.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and `
shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Newport News
a weekly newspaper, published, printed, and circulated in said City, and i
which is hereby designated for that purpose.

Newport Beach, do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance No.130 wag
passe) by thr Board of Trusteesm of the City of Newport Beach, signed
by the President of said Board and attested by the City Clerk, all at a'
regular meeting of said Board held on the 9th. day of April 1917.,and
that the same was passed by the following vote, to wit: Ayes S.R.
Jumper, Glen Helms, H.A.Robinsoh, J.C.McCain, Geo. P. Wilson.
