Day of January 1918, and that same has been printed and published according to law. c Clerk of the City of ewpor Beach, al* t t t G ^r F a F v 1 Z ORDINANCE NO. 138 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING CERTAIN STREETS IN SAID CITY AS PUBLIC STREETS THEREOF, AND DESIGNATING THE NAMES BY WHICH SUCH STREETS SHALL BE KNOWN AND CALLED. The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do ordain as fol- lows: Section 1. That certain strip of land 40 ft. in width and being 20 ft. In width each side of a center line of said 40 -ft. strip of land and which center line is described as follows: Beginning at a point In the north - L eriy prolongation of the easterly line of Summit Street, as said Summit Street is laid out and shown upon a { map of El Moro Tract and recorded In Map Book 8, page 75, Miscellaneous records of Orange County, California, which point is 101.86 feet northerly I of the northerly line of the Southern i Pacific Railroad Company's right-of- way; thence south 57° 57 min. east 180.67 feet to a point; thence south 64° 58 min. east 1087.86 feet Ito a point; thence south 54,j 5 min. east 646.40 feet to a point, !which Point is 320 ft. northerly of the northerly line of the Southern Paciftc Railroad Company's right -of -way, thence south 56° 33 min. east along a line which Is 320 feet northerly Of and parallel with the northerly line of, the Southern Pacific Railroad Com• 1 puny's right -of -way to the intersection with the southerly bank of the Santa Ana River, and within the City of Newport Beach, California. That certain public Street in the City of Newporty Beach commonly known and designatde as County Road" and also as "Newport Avenue" and which extends from 19th.St. in the City of Newport Beach to the northly boudary line of said Newport Beach, .shall hereafter be known s and designated as " Central Avo." and the name of said Street is hereby established as " Central Avenue ". SECTION 5.
