AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH BY ITS CITY COUNCIL AS THE LEGIS• LATIYE BRANCH OF SAHI CITY FIXING THE COMPENSA• TION OF THE CLERK THERE• OF. The City Council of the City of Newport Beach do ordain as fol- lows: SECTION I. From and after the sixteenth day of April, 1928 thel compensation of the Clerk of the City of Newport Beach shall be the sum of two hundred, tweutp -five dollars ($225.00) Per month, pay- able monthly at the same time and in the same manner as the corn -, . pensation of all other officers of the said City is paid. Such com -l. pensatiou to be in full far all serv-`` ices by him rendered in any offi -I cial capacity or employment what-1 soever during his term of office. p)J SECTION H. This Ordinance shall be Published once in Newport News, a uewspaper of general cir -1I culation, printed, published and }, circulated in the City of Newport I� Beach and- shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its passage. The above and foregoing Ordin- ance was passed at a regular meet- ing of the City Council held the fourteenth day of February, 1928 by the affirmative vote of the follow- ing named members thereof.
