HomeMy WebLinkAbout447 - Uniform Building Code0 • • • • 'ORDINANCE NO. 447 The City of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council, does ordain as follows, to -wit: SECTION 1 WHEREAS, it satisfactorily ap- 'pearing to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, that not less than three copies of the Uni- form Building Code, 1935 Edition, prepared by Pacific Coast Build- ing Officials Conference of Long Beach, California, have been filed for use and examination by the public, in the cffice of the Clerk of the City of Newport Beach. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby pass and adopt that certain ordinance establishing rules and regulations for the con- struction of buildings, known as the Uniform Building Code, 1935 Edition, by reference thereto, three copies of said code being now on file for use and examin- ation by the public, in the office of the Clerk of the =City of New- port Beach. SECTION 2 The City Clerk of tho City of Newport Beach shall not be re- quired to publish this ordinance, and said ordinance shall be in ef- fect and force from and after the second reading thereof. The above and foregoing ordin- ance passed by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of June, 1936, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES, Councilmen: Gordon, Claire, Whitson, Garfield, Wil- liamson. NOES, Councilmen: None. ABSENT, Councilmen: None. The within and foregoing ordin- ance is signed and approved by me this 20th day of June, 1936. HARRY H.
