ORDINANCE NO. 505
The City of Newport Beach, by
and through its City Council, does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I. That all lots front-
ing on Central Avenue on the
Westerly side thereof, between
Finley Avenue and Short Street in
the City of Newport Beach, as
shown by the District Map attach-
ed to Ordinance No. 440 of the City
of Newport Beach, and made a
part thereof, be and they are here-
by re -zoned from an R -1 District to
a C -1 District.
SECTION 2. The City Engineer
of the City of Newport Beach is
hereby instructed and directed to
change the District Map so as to
show said property above describ-
ed in a C -1 District, and as said
District Map shall have been so
amended, the same shall remain in
full force and effect and a part of
Ordinance No. 440 of the City of
Newport Beach and amendments
thereto.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall
be published once in the NEW-
PORT- BALBOA PRESS, a news-
paper printed and published and of
general circulation in the City of
Newport Beach, and the same shall
be in force thirty days after its
passage.
The foregoing ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 3rd
day of November, 1941, and was
finally passed and adopted by said
City Council at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 5th day of Jan.
uary, 1942, by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: REED,
CLAIRE, BROWN, GORDON.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: NONE.

ALLEN.

nance is signed and approved by
me this 5th day of January, 1942.
