The City of Newport Beach, by
and through its City Council, does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Every person, other
than a Police Officer of the City
of Newport Beach, or City Em-
ployea of said City, who shall en-
ter any house, room, apartment,
tenement, shop, warehouse, store,
mill, barn, garage, outhouse, or
other building, tent, vessel or mo-
tor vehicle without the consent of
the owner, his Agent or person
lawfully in charge, shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor.
Section 2. Any violation of Sec-
tion 1 hereof shall upon convic-
tion thereof be punishable by a
fine not to exceed $300.00, or three
months imprisonment in the City
Jail of the City of Newport
Beach, or by both such fine and
Imprisonment.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall
be printed and published once in
Newport Balboa News- Times, a
newspaper_ printed, published and
circulated in the City of Newport
Beach, and shall take effect and
be in full force within thirty days
after Its passage.
The above and foregoing Ordi-
nance was introduced at a regu-
lar meeting of the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, held
on the 5th day of June, 1944, and
was finally passed and adopted on
the 3rd day of July, 1944, at a
regular meeting thereof by the
following roll call vote thereof:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen;
Stanley, Isbell, Reed, Hall.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None.
The above and foregoing Ordi-
nance is signed and approved by
me this 3rd day of July, 1944..
