AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
$EQTION 7211 ESTABLISH-
ING WATER RATES
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1: Section 7211 of
the Municipal Code is h e r e b y
amended to read as follows:
',Meter Rates For the period
commencing August 15, 1952,
where water is furnished through
a meter for domestic use and all
business purposes other than agri-
cultural, the monthly rate for wa-
ter consumed shall be as follows:
For % -inch meters,
first 700 feet or less ......$1.30
For % -inch meters,
first 700 feet or less ......$1.30
For I -inch meters,
first 1,000 feet or less .... $1.66
For 1'/a -inch meters,
first 1,300 feet or less .... $2.02
For 2 -inch mkers,
first 1,600 feet or less .... $2.99
Fok 3 -Inch meters,
first 1,800 feet or less ... .$2.62
For each additional
100 cu, feet . .... .................$0.12
SECTION 2: This ordinance
shall be published at least once in
the Newport Harbor Ensign, a
newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach and shall take
effect 30 days after its final pas-
sage.
The foregoing Ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 23rd
day of June, 1952, and was finally
passed and d adopted

AYES, Councilmen: Miller,
Horvath, Finch, Isbell, Smith
NOES, Councilmen: None
