TION 10158.E TO THE MUNF-
CIPAL CODE OF THE CITY'
OF NEWPORT BEACH, PRO-
HIBITING CERTAIN VESSELS.
FROM USING C E R T A I N
AREAS OF NEWPORT"
HARBOR.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does hereby ordainr-
aFs follows:
SECTION 1: There is herebW
added to the Municipal Code of
the City of Newport Beach, Sec -
don 10158.1 to read as follows:
"SECTION 10158.1 SAME.
BAY ISLAND CHANNEL. No
vessel powered by an engine shall
travel through the channel lying;
between Bay Island and the Penin-
!'iila from June 1st through Seli-
!brpber 15th of each year."
SECTION 2: .T h is Ordinand&
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of g.e n e r a I circulation,
printed and published in the City
of Newport Beach, and the same
shall be in full force and effect 30 ,.
days after this passage.
The foregoing Ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
NF -wport Beach, held on the 24th -
dav of February, 1953, and was
firally passed and adopted on the
fah day . of March, 1953, by the
following vote, to wit:
