ORDINANCE No. 695

NEPORT REACH, AMEND-
ING -SECTION 7108 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE, INCREAS-
CREASING THE TVIINIMUM
*SEW;9ft'CONNECTION FEES..
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does hereby or-
dain as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 7108 of
the Municipal Code of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby amend -
ed to read as follows:
"Section 7108. Same. Deposit.
The applicant shall also deposit
the sum of Fifteen Dollars for
making tht connection and in-
specting the same when made, to-
gether with an additional One
Dollar for each foot of sewer pipe
to be laid from the public sewer
line to a point on the property to
be connected, the point to be
designated by the owner, provid-
ed, however, that the minimum fee
for making any connection shall
be Fifty Dollars, except that
where connections have been in-
stalled to the property line, the
minimum fee for making and in-
specting such connections shall be
Fifteen Dollars."
SECTION 2: This ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport - Balboa Press, a news-
paper of general circulation, print-
ed and published in the City of
Newport Beach, and the same
shall be in full force and effect
30 days after this passage.
. The foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 10th
`day of August, 1953, was amend-
ed and re- introduced at u regular
meeting of the said City Council
held on the 14th day of Scptember, i
1953, and- was finally passed and
adopted on the 28th day of Sep-
tember, 1953, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES, Councilmen Smith, Finch
Isbell, Bennett, Miller.
NOES, Councilmen, None.
ABSENT, Councilmen, None.
