The City Council of the Otty of
Newport Beach does hereby or-
dain as follovv:.
SECTION 1:f9ection 6 of ordi-
nance No. 601,-L§ hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 6: This Ordinance shall
be published once in the Newport-
Balboa Press, a newspaper of
general circulation, 'printed and
published in the City of Newport
Baaeh. Sections 1, 2 and 3 hereof
shall be in full force and effect
on the 1st day of November, 195 .
Sections 4 and 5 hereof shall be
in full force and eff&A 30 days
after said publication."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport - Balboa Press, a newspa-
per of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of New-
port Beach and the same shall be
in full force and effect 30 days af-
ter such publication.
The foregoing Ordinance was in-
troduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the 23rd
day of November, 1953, and was
finally passed and adopted on the
14th day of December, 1953, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Smith,
Pinch. Isbell, Bennett, Miller
