AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTION 420I OF THE MU-
NICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH, REGU-
LATING THE HOURS OF USE
OF BEACHES 1

I Newport Beach does ordain as
1 lows:
I SECTION 1: Section 4201 of -the
Municipal Code of the City of
:I Newport Beach is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 420I. Beaches. Use at
Night. (a) No person shall be al-
lowed or permitted on the public
beaches in the City, except the
Corona dbl Mar State Park Beach,
between the hours of midnight and
1 6:00 o'clock A.M. of the following
day.
(b) No person shall be allowed
or permitted on the Corona del
. Mar State. Park Beach between
the hours of 6:00 o'clock P.M. and
6:00 o'clock A.M: of the following
day for the period commencing on
October 16 of each calendar year
and ending on February 28 of the
following calendar year, or be-
tween the hours of midnight and
6:06 o'clock A.M. of the following
day during the period from March
1, to October 15 of each calendar
year.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport-Balboa Press, a news-
paper of general circulation, print-
ed and published in the City of
Newport Beach, and the same
shall be in full force and effect
30 days after this publication.
The foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach held on the 23rd
day of February, 1954, and was
finally passed and adopted on the
2nd day of March, 1954, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES, Councilmen: Smith, Ben-
nett, Pinch, Isbell, Miller
NOES, Councilmen: None
ABSENT Councilmen: None
