Newport Beach does ordain asows:
SECTION 1: Section 4209 en-
titled "Public Address Systems'
be and the same 19 hereby
'amended to read as follows:
"Section 4209. Public Address
'Systems. No person shall use or
!permit to be used, auy public
address systems or similar mech-
anical contrivances or apparatus'
for the purpose of broadcasting
+noises or music, or other sounds,
in or on the public streets, or in
or on. public or semi - public
Afplaces in the city, -unless Stich
public Address systems or similar
mechanical, contrivances or ap-
paratus as heretofore mentioned,
the sounds emitted there
from, shall be confined within
enclosed rooms or buirding8.

operate on a seasonal basis and

ally injured unless this ordin-
ance takes effect immediately.

ly upon the passage thereof and
shall be published once in the,
