ORDINANCE NO. 818
WHEREAS, the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach has
heretofore on this date adopted
Resolution No. 4615, to which re-
ference is hereby made; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of
March, 1957, at a regular meet.
ing of said City Council, said
City Council adopted Ordinance
No. 817; and
WHEREAS, the City Council,
finds it to be in the best inter-
ests of the City of Newport Beach
and its citizens that said ordi-
nance be rescinded and declared
to be of no force or effect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR-
DAINED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that
Ordinance No. 817 be, and the
same is, hereby rescinded and
declared to be of no force or ef-
fect.
This ordinance shall take ef-
fect Immediately upon the pas-
sage hereof and shall be pub-
lished once in the Newport
Harbor Ensign, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and
published and circulated in the
City of Newport Beach.
The above and foregoing ordi-
nance was introduced and
adopted at a regular adjourned
meeting of the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach held
on the 19th day of March 1957,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart,
Wilder, MacKay, Stoddard,
Higbie, Hill.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
