ORDINANCE NO. 874
AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING CERTAIN TERRI.
TORY TO DISTRICTS OF
THE CITY PURSUANT TO
SECTION 1005 OF THE
CHARTER.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the
City of Newport Beach provides
that when any territory is an-
nexed to the City of Newport
Beach the City Council shall by
ordinance add the territory to an
adjacent district or districts; and
WHEREAS, certain territories
referred to as "Acacia Street An-
nex," "Jamboree Road Annex"
and "Cameo Cliffs Annex" have
been annexed to the City of New-
port Beach; and
WHEREAS, the territories with.
in the Acacia Street Annex and
Jamboree Road Annex are adja-
cent to the Fourth District and
the territory within the Cameo
Cliffs Annex is adjacent to the
Sixth District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The territories
referred to as "Acacia Street An-
nex" and "Jamboree Road An-
nex" are hereby added to the
Fourth District, and said Fourth
District designated in Section
1009 of the Charter of the City of
Newport Beach shall include all
that portion of the City included
within the following described
boundary line, to wit:
Beginning at the intersec-
tion of the center line of
ORA -43 -A and the center line
of ORA -60 -A; thence easter-
ly along said center line of
State Highway ORA -60 -A
and -along the center line of
State Highway ORA -60 -B to
an intersection with the
southeasterly prolongation of
the court decree line between
Stations 16 -B and 17, as de-
..scribed in the court decree
established by Superior
Court Case No. 20436 of the

SECTION 3: This Ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,

of Newport Beach, and the same
shall be effective 30 days after
the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 26th day of
January, 1959, and was adopted
on the 9th day of February, 1959,
by the following vote, to wit:
