ORDINANCE NO. 880
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDINGSECTION 10126 OF
THE NEWPORT BEACH MU-
NICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
MOORING FEES.
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: Section 10126 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"SECTION 10126. Same. Fees.
The-owner of every vessel in
N e w p o r t Harbor having a
mooring shall pay to the City
or, while the administration of
moorings is under the Orange
County H a r b o r Department,
shall pay to the Orange Coun-
ty Harbor Department the fol-
lowing fees:
For offshore moorings:
An initial permit fee of $1.20
per lineal foot of over -all
length of the vessel moored
thereon, payable upon the is.
suance of the permit.
A yearly inspection fee of $1.20
per lineal foot of over -all
length of the vessel, payable
December 1 of each year there-
after.
For shore moorings:
An initial permit fee of $.60
per lineal foot of over -all
length of the vessel moored
thereon, payable upon the is.

A yearly inspection fee of $.60
per lineal foot.of the over -all
length of the vessel, payable
December 1 of each year there-
after."
SECTION 2: Mooring fees paid
in advance as of March 10, 1959,
shall not be subject to the in-
crease provided herein. Payments
made after March 10, 1959, for
any period of time after said
date shall be at the increased
rate.
SECTION 3: This ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall be effective 30 days
after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 11th day of
May, 1959, and was adopted on
the 25th day of May, 1959, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart,
Lorenz, Somers, Atkinson, Hig-
bie, Stoddard.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN:
Kingsley.
JAMES B. STODDARD,
Mayor.
