ORDINANCE NO. 882
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMEND-
ING DISTRICT MAP NO. 18
ADOPTED BY SECTION 9102.2
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: The following de-
scribed real property in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Or-
ange, State of California, to wit:
Lots 1 to 24 inclusive of
Block A35, Lots 1 to 16 inclu-
sive and Lots 18, 20 & 22, Block
A36, except that portion of Lot
22 re- subdivided to form Lot A
of Tract No. 1026, and Lots 1
to 16 inclusive of Block A37,
all blocks as shown upon a
map of Corona del Mar re-
corded in Miscellaneous Maps
Book No. 3, Pages 41 and 42,
Records of Orange County,
California. Lots 18 to 34 inclu-
sive of Tract No. 1026 recorded
in Miscellaneous Maps Book
No. 33, Pages 37 and 38, Rec-
ords of Orange County, Cali-
fornia. A portion of Lot No. 1,
Tract 1006, as shown upon a
map recorded in Miscellaneous
Maps Book 33, Page 29, Rec-
ords of Orange County, Cali-
fornia. All of that public beach
area lying between the south-
westerly prolongation of the
easterly line of Narcissus Ave-
nue and the Newport Harbor
entrance and between Shore
Avenue, formerly Ocean Ave-
nue, as shown upon a map of
said Corona del Mar and the
Pacific Ocean, and all streets,
alleys and other roadways va-
cated by City of Newport
Beach Council Resolution No.
4757 dated February 24, 1958,
which streets and 'alleys lie
within the area herein de-
scribed, commonly known as

Corona del Mar State Park
Beach,
as shown on District Map No. 18
attached to Ordinance No. 635
and as referred to in Section
9102.2 of the Newport Beach Mu-
nicipal Code and made a part of
Article IX of said Code, be, and
the same is, hereby rezoned from
an R -1 to an Unclassified Dis-
trict and said Map No. 18 is
hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 2: The City Engin-
eer of the City of Newport Beach
is hereby instructed and directed
to change District Map No. 18 so
as to show the zoning changes
described in Section 1 hereof,
and, as said District Map shall
have been so amended, the same
shall remain in full force and
effect and be a part of Ordi-
nance No. 635 of the City of
Newport Beach and Article IX of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code.
SECTION 3: This ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall'be effective 30 days
after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 25th day of
May, 1959, and was adopted on
the 8th day of June, 1959, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kings.
ley, Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lo-
renz, Somers.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN:
Atkinson.
