ORDINANCE NO. 885
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMEND.
ING SECTION 3273 OF THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICI-
PAL CODE RELATING TO
PARKING.
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: Section 3273 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code
is amended to read:
"SECTION 3273. Unlawful
Parking — Vendors, Vehicles
for Hire. (a) Except as other-
wise provided in this section,
no person shall stand or park
any vehicle, wagon or hand-
cart from which any product
is sold, displayed, solicited or
offered for sale or bartered or
exchanged on any portion of
any street within the city, ex-
cept that persons with a busi.
ness license to sell from such
vehicles, wagons or handcarts
may stand or park them only
at the request of a bona fide
purchaser for a period of time
not to exceed ten (10) minutes
at any one place. The provi.

SECTION 2: This ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor Ensign, a news-
paper of general circulation,
printed and published in the
City of Newport Beach, and the
same shall be effective 30 days
after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 8th day of
June, 1959, and was adopted on
the 22nd day of June, 1959, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart,
Lorenz, Somers, Kingsley, Atkin.

NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None.
