AMENDING SECTION 7211,
OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT
ING TO READINESS TO"
SERVE CHARGES h
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 7211 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"Section 7211: Readiness
to Serve Charges- There
shall be charged and col-
lected a monthly readiness
fo serve fee, as follows:
For 34-inch meter or law- -- -$1.75
For 1 -inch meter --- - ----- - - - - -- 225
For 13¢ -inch meter ............ 3.50
For 2 -inch meter ................ '4.75
For 21/2 -inch meter ............ 6.00
For 3 -inch meter ................ 7.00
For 4 -inch meter ---------- - - - - -- 9.50
For 6 -inch meter ................ 14.00
For 8 -inch meter ..:............. 18 -75
In addition to the readiness to
serve fees set out above, there is
hereby imposed and shall be
charged and collected between
July 15. 1959, and July 14, 1964,
an additional monthly fee of 75c'
for each water meter In the area
of the City within the following,
boundary:
Beginning at the intersec-
tion of the centerlines of Ir.
vine Avenue and Fifteenth
Street; thence along the cen-
tei9ine of Irvine Avenue to
the Centerline of Coral
Place; thence along the cen-
terline of Coral Placelo the
centerline of St. Andrews
Road; thence along the cen-
terline of St. Andrews Road
to the centerline of Cliff
Drive; thence along the cen-
terline of Cliff Drive to Ir-
vine Avenue; thence along
the westerly -lot line of Lots
1 and 2, Tract 1221; thence
along the southerly lot line
of Lot 2, Tract 1221 to the
centerline of Kings Road;
thence along the southerly
lot line. of Lots 19. 20. 21, 22
and 23 of Tract 1.221 and the
lots of Block A and B of
Tract 1219; thence along the
southerly tract line of Tract
1218; thence along the south-
erly lot line of Block C and
D of Tract 1219 to the east.

SECTION 2: This ordinance
`shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor News- Press, a
newspaper of general circulation.

shall be effective 30 days after
the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 13th day of
July, 1959, and was adopted on
the 27th day of July, 1959, by
the following vote. to wit: �
