AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ESTABLISHING - SETBACK'
LINES, REZONING PROP-1
ERTY, AND AMENDING
DISTRICT MAP NO. 32
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: District Map No.
32 referred to in Section 9102.2
of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code and made a part of Ar-
ticle IX of said Code is amend-
ed and the following building
setback lines are hereby estab-
lished for the hereinafter de-.
scribed real property in the
City of Newport. Beach, County.
of Orange, State of California,
as follows:
The front building set-
back line for lots 1 to 15,
inclusive, in Tract 3542, a9
per trap recorded in Book
124, pages 32 and 33, of
Miscellaneous Mape, Records
of Orange County, Califor-
nia, shall be as follows:
Lots 1, 3, 8 and 9, twelve
feet (IT);'
Lots 2, 4, 10 and 12, ten
feet (10');
Lot 5, eighteen feet (18'){
Lot 6, forty feet (40')1
Lot 7, nine feet (9');
Lot 11, eight feet (8');
Lot 13, fifty feet (50');
Lot 14, thirty feet (30');
and
Lot 15, twenty -five feet
(25').
SECTION 2: The following
described real property in the
City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
Lots 1 to 15, inclusive, in
Tract 3542, as per map re-
corded in Book 124, pages
32 and 33, of biiseeltaneous
Maps, Records of Orange
County, California,
as shown mi ni,imc illap No.
32 refei}ed to in Section 9102.2
Of the Nr•ppurt Beach Municipal
Code and made a part of Article
IX of said Code, be, and the
same is, hereby rezoned from an
Unclassified District to an R -1-
B District and said Afap No. 32
is hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 3: The Planning
Director of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and
directed to change District Map
No. 32 so as to 8110" the build-
ing setback lines established in
Section 1 hereof and the zoning
change described in Section 2
hereof, and, as said District
Map shall have been so amend -
ed, the same shall remain in full
force and effect and be A. part
of Article IX of the Newport
Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 4: This ordinance
shall be published once in the
Newport Harbor News Press, a
newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed and published in
the City of Newport Reach, and
the same shall be effective 30
days after the date of its adop-
tion.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the Citv of New-
port Beach held on the 25th day
of .January. 1960, and was
adopted on the Sth day of Feb-
vote, to wit:

sley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stod-
dard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
