ORDINANCE NO. 1013
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMEND-
ING SECTION 3272 OF THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO LIMI-
TATIONS ON PARKING
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3272 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code is amended to read;
"SECTION 3272. Stopping or
Parking Prohibited -- Signs
Required. The city traffic
engineer shall appropriately
sign or mark the following
places and when so signed or
marked no person shall stop,
stand or park a vehicle in any
of said places.
1. At any place within
twenty (20) feet of a point on
the curb immediately opposite
the mid -block end of a safety
zone.
2. At any place within
twenty4ive (25) feet of an
intersection except that a bus
may stop at a designated bus
stop.

ing device.
4. Atany place established
by resolution of the City Coun-
cil as a no parking area.
5. At any place where the
city traffic engineer determ-
ines that it is necessary in order
to eliminate unusual traffic
hazard. "
SECTION 2. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 11th day of
September, 1962, and was a-
dopted on the 24th day of
September, 1962, by the fol-
lowing vote, to wit:
