ORDINANCE NO. 1211
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING
SECTION 5.12.110 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ANNUAL VEHICLE FEES FOR TAXICABS
• AND OTHER VEHICLES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5.12.110 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"5.12.110 Annual Vehicle Fee. Each holder of a
certi ca�sue hereunder s a pay an annual fee for
each fiscal year or portion of a fiscal year for each
vehicle operated in accordance with the following schedule:
For one taxicab . $ 100.00
For each additional taxicab ..... 30.00
For one vehicle other than taxicab,
defined in Section 5.12.010 .......... 25.00
For each additional vehicle other than
taxicab so defined. ................... 10.00
The fees are due July 1st of each year and if not paid
become delinquent August 1st of each year.B1
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
• the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 27th
day of March , 1967, and was adopted on the 10th day of
April , 1967, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons,
Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN:
None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
