ORDINANCE NO. a2AA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING
SECTION 12.44.040 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO PARKING METER FEES
0 The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.44.040 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
1112.44.040 Parkin Meter Fees. Fees for parking
at parking meters in zones estab fished by Section 12.44.020
when the parking meters are in operation are hereby estab-
lished as follows:
(a) Twenty cents per hour for parking meters on Fif-
teenth Street between Ocean Front and Newport Bay in zone
six.
(b) Twenty -five cents for any time up to twelve hours
for parking meters in the portions of zone five consisting
of the tenth through fifteenth parking spaces on the easterly
side of Via Oporto southerly of Via Lido, the thirteenth through
twentieth parking spaces on the westerly side of Via Oporto
southerly of Via Lido, and all meters -on Ilia Malaga except the
first parking space on the southerly side of Via Malaga easterly
of Via Oporto.
(c) Ten cents per hour for parking meters in the
remainder of zones five and six and in all other zones.18
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 26,.h
day of LP-11 1967, and was adopted on the '-2n2
day of �Z17 1967, by the following vote, to wit*
