AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT
MAP NU. 24
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
That portion of Lots 8 and 9, Tract No. 3232, in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, as per map filed in Book 99, pages
49 and 50 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the most Easterly corner of said Lot 8,
being also a point on a curve in the generally
Easterly boundary of said Tract No. 3232 concave
Southwesterly and having a radius of 975.00 feet,
a radial to said point bears North 60° 248 51" East;
thence along said Easterly boundary the following
courses and distances: Southeasterly 14,98 feet
along said curve through an angle of 0° 528 49 ";
South 280 428 20" East 195.14 feet to the beginning
of a curve concave Westerly having a radius of
375.00 feet; Southerly 240.42 feet along said curve
through an angle of 360 448 00 "; South 8° 018 40"
West 123.85 feet; thence leaving said Easterly
boundary North 81° 588 20" West 100.00 feet to a
line parallel and concentric with and distant 100.00
feet Westerly from said Easterly boundary; thence
along said parallel and concentric line the following
courses and distances: North 8° 018 40" East 123.85
feet to the beginning of a curve concave Westerly
having a radius of 275.00 feet; Northerly 176.31
feet along said curve through an angle of 36° 448 00 ";
North 28° 428 20" West 195.14 feet to the beginning
of a curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of
875.00 feet; Northwesterly 108.87 feet along said
curve through an angle of 7 °078 43" to a point9•a
radial to said point bears North 54° 098 57" East;
thence non - tangent North 60° 008 00" East 100.47
feet to a point on said curve having a radius of
975.00 feet in the Easterly boundary of said tract,
a radial to said point bears North 54° 458 58"
East; thence Southeasterly 96.12 feet along said
curve through an angle of 5° 388 53" to the point of
beginning,

Section 20.06.030
of
the Newport Beach
Municipal Code, and by
such
reference made a

part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from a C -1 -H
District to an R -1 District, and said District Map No. 24 is
hereby amended to show this zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change District
Map No. 24 so as to show the zoning changes described in Section 1
hereof, and, as said District Map shall have been so amended,
the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of
Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
9th day of June , 1969, and was adopted on the
23rd day of June , 1969, by the following vote, to
wit.

ABSENT COUNCILMEN: Gruber
