AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 11.08.040 RELATING TO
SLEEPING IN VEHICLES OR ON BEACHES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11.08.040 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
°11.08.040 Sleeping in Automobiles Vehicles or on Beaches.
It is hereby declared unlawful.for any person to sleep in any auto-
mobile vehicle parked any place in the City of Newport Beach, or to
sleep on any beach, public or private, between the hours of nine
p.m. and nine a.m. of the next day."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 28th day of
February , 193, and was adopted on the 13th day of
March , 19 72 , by the following vote, to wit:
