AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 19.24.110 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE THE
• INSPECTION FEE FOR INSTALLATION OF STREET
TREES
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 19.24.110 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"19.24.110 Street Trees. Street trees shall be
required and planted in accordance with specifications
established by the Park, Beaches and Recreation Department.
A $3.50 inspection fee will be charged for the installation
of every tree. The fee is payable upon approval of the
final tract map."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
10th day of June, 1974, and was adopted on the 24th
day of June 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Distal, Barrett,
Kuehn, Ropers, Ryckoff, Store
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
