ORDINANCE NO. 1797
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING A PORTION OF DISTRICTING MAP NO.
30 TO RECLASSIFY FROM THE R -3 -B -2 DISTRICT
TO THE A -P DISTRICT CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCA-
TED AT 2222 UNIVERSITY DRIVE, AND ACCEPTING
THE ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENT (AMENDMENT NO.
520)
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California:
Parcel 2, Parcel Map 3 -35 (Resubdivision
No. 211), located at 2222 University
Drive on the northerly side of University
Drive, easterly of Irvine Avenue, adjacent
to the Orange County Y.M.C.A.,
as shown on Dist
20.06.030 of the
reference made a
rezoned from the
said Districting
zoning.

Beach Municipal Code, and by such
Title 20 of said Code, is hereby

SECTION 2. The Director of the Community Development
Department of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed
and directed to change Districting Map No. 30 to show the zoning
change described in Section 1. hereof, and as said Districting
Map shall have been so amended, the same shall be:in full force
and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. The negative declaration prepared for
said reclassification of property is hereby accepted by the
City Council.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
12th day of February , 1979, and was
adopted on the 26th day of February 1979,
by the following vote, to wit,
