• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 2.04.020 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE TIME OF
CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2.04.020 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
112.04.020 Time of Meetings. The City Council shall
hold its regular meetings on the second and fourth
Mondays in each month at the hour of seven p.m.
In addition to such regular meetings, the City
Council shall convene for the purpose of hearing reports
from the staff and reviewing, discussing and debating
matters of interest to the City at the hour of two p.m.
on the second and fourth Mondays in each month."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the
City
Council of
the City of
Newport Beach
held
on the
26th
day
of
March
1979, and
was adopted on
the
9th
day of
April , 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
