AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.44.020 (d) OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING IN PARKING
METER ZONE FOUR 28TH STREET BETWEEN LIDO PARK
DRIVE AND THE RHINE; AND AMENDING SECTION
12.44.020 (f) OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE BY ADDING IN PARKING METER ZONE SIX 28TH
STREET BETWEEN NEWPORT BOULEVARD AND VILLA WAY
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.44.020 (d) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
"(d) Zone Four. Bay Avenue between Adams Street and
Palm Street.
Ocean Front between McFadden Place and 24th Street.
Palm Street between Bay Avenue and the first alley
southerly of Balboa Boulevard.
Lido Park Drive between 28th Street and Lafayette
Avenue.
Washington Street northerly of Bay Avenue.
28th Street between Lido Park Drive and The Rhine."
SECTION 2. Section 12.44.020 (f) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
"(f) Zone Six. Fifteenth Street between Ocean Front
and Newport Bay.
Balboa Boulevard between 23rd Street and 28th Street.
Southwesterly side of Newport Boulevard between 23rd
Street and 30th Street.
28th Street between Balboa Boulevard and the
northeasterly side of Newport Boulevard.
Easterly side of 18th Street between Balboa Boulevard
and Bay Avenue.
Easterly side of 19th Street between Bay Avenue and
Newport Bay.
28th Street between Newport Boulevard and Villa Way.
There are excepted from the zones established hereby
those areas designated and marked as loading zones and areas
where pursuant to other provisions of this Title the time
limit on parking is 10 minutes or less."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City and the same shall be effective
thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 9th
day of Pbb'X , 1981, and was adopted on
the -13-d day of February , 1981, by the following
vote, to wit:

Strauss, Hart, Cox, and Hummel
