AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING A PORTION OF DISTRICTING MAP NO. 50
TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM THE
R -A DISTRICT TO THE R -1 -B DISTRICT
(AMENDMENT NO. 563)
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach
DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property
located in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California:
That portion of Tract No. 10625, in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 481,
Pages 6 through 9 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the Office of County Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of said
tract; thence northeasterly along the north-
westerly line of said tract, the following
courses: North 25° 25100" East 972.29 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave
southeasterly, having a radius of 1950.00
feet; thence 514.19 feet along said curve
through a central angle of 15° 06' 29" to a
line parallel with and 300.00 feet westerly
measured at right angles from the westerly
boundary line of Parcels 1 and 2 as per map
filed in Book 61, page 41 of Parcel Maps, in
the Office of said County Recorder; thence
leaving said northeasterly line and non -
tangent from said curve South 23° 18' 36" East
660.52 feet along said parallel line to a
point on the southerly line of said tract,
said point being the beginning of a non -
tangent curve concave southerly having a
radius of 1250.00, a radial line from said
curve bears South 7° 52' 39" East; thence
westerly and southwesterly 1237.13 feet along
said curve through a central angle of 56° 41'
21" to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
as shown on Districting Map No. 50, referred to in Section
20.01.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such
reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby amended
to change the land use designation of said property from the R -A
district to the R -1 -B district.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change
• Districting Map No. 50 to reflect said change as described in
Section 1 hereof, and as said Districting Map shall have been so
amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part
of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City and the same shall be effect-
ive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach' held on the
day of August 24 , 1981, and was adopted on the 14th day
of September 14 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
