AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH AMENDING PORTIONS OF DISTRICTING
MAPS NO. 49 AND 50 SO AS TO RECLASSIFY
SAID PROPERTY FROM THE UNCLASSIFIED
DISTRICT TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY
. DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR BLOCK 400 OF
NEWPORT CENTER.
(PLANNING COMMISSION AMENDMENT NO. 598)
The City Council or the City of Newport Beach DOES ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. The following real property located in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California:
Parcel No. 1 of Parcel Map 91 -19 (Resubdivision
No. 524), Parcels No. 1 and 3 of Parcel Map 37 -23
(Resubdivision No. 297), Parcel No. 1 of Parcel
Map 34 -30 (Resubdivision No. 226), and Parcel No.
1 of Parcel Map 61 -10 (Resubdivision No. 417),
located at 400 Newport Center Drive, on the
easterly side of Newport Center Drive between San
Nicholas Drive and San Miguel Drive, in Newport
Center.
As shown on Districting Maps No. 49 and 50, referred to in Section
20.01.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference
made a part of Title 20 of said Code is hereby amended to rezone said
property from the C -O -H to the Planned Community District and adopting
a new Planned Community Development Plan and Development Standards.
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport Beach is
hereby instructed and directed to change Districting Maps No. 49 and
50 to reflect said change as described in Section 1 hereof, and as
said Districting Maps have been so amended, the same shall be in full
force and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. The entire territory known as the Block 400 Planned
Community, more fully described in Section 1 of this Ordinance which
is zoned P -C, is hereby amended to adopt a Planned Community
• Development Plan and Development Standards, Amendment No. 598;
attached hereon as Exhibit 1.
SECTION 4. The Planning Director of the City of Newport Beach is
also hereby instructed and directed to show said Planned Community
Development Plan on said property and Planned Community District as
described in Section 3 above; the same shall be in full force and
effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in the official
• newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective 30 days after
the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 23rd day of January,
1984, and was adopted on the
following vote, to wit:
