AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADDING
SECTION 2.36.020 TO THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
STANDARDS AND TRAINING FOR
CORRECTIONS PROGRAM
•The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section 2.36.020 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code shall be added to Chapter 2.36 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code to read as follows:
2.36.020 While receiving any State Aid pursuant to Article 3,
commencing with Section 6040 of the California Penal Code, the City
of Newport Beach will adhere to the standards for selection and
training established by the Board of Corrections.
Section 2: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall
attest to the passage of this Ordinance. The City shall cause the
same to be published once in the official newspaper of the City and
it shall be effective thirty (30) days after its adoption.
•Section 3: This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 13th
day of May F 1996, and adopted on the 28th day of
May , 1996, by the following vote, to -wit:
