ARESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO IMPROVE CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CEi %TRAL
AVENUE AND OTHER STREET, ALLEYS AND RIGHTS OF WAY WITHIN SAID
CITY, AND ALSO CERTAIN PORTIONS OF RIGHTS OF WYY An:D PROPERTY
OWNED BY SAID CITY, SITUATED OUTSDIE OF AND ADJACENT TO THE
CORPORATE BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY, FORMING AN ASSESSME'NT
DISTRICT OF LANDS WITHIN THE SAID CITY TO BE BENEFITED BY AND TO
PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES OF SAID PORPOSED IMPROVEMENTS AND
DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT THE COSTS
THEREOF.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do resolve
Ias follows:
SECTION ONE.
That the public interest and convenience require and it is
lithe intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach to order the following work to be ddne, to wit:
That cement pipe sanitary sewers be constructed in the followi
Illocations:
In, along and over the right of way and property owned by the
said City of Newport Beach, from a point in the receiving basin of
pumping station No. 1, whihc point is 613 feet, North 6 degrees,
9 ipinutes East of the interesection of the center lines of Rail-
road Avenue and 36th Street; thence in, along and over said right -
of - way and property owned by said City, and across Newport Bay
and in Railroad Avnue, South 6 degrees, 9 minutes West, 613 feet
to the intersection of the center lines of Railroad Avenue and
36th Street and in Railroad Avenue from the last mentioned point
to the interesection of the Center line of Railroad Avneue and
32nd, Street; and in 32nd, Street from the intersection of the
center lines of Railroad Avenue and 32nd. Street, southwesterly
to the center lines of the first alley northeasterly of Ocean Aven
And in Pacific Avenan from the center line of 32nd. Street, north-
westerly to the center line of 36th Street; and in 33rd, Street
from the center line of Pacific Avenue, southwesterly to a point

All of the aforesaid cement pipe sanitary sewers shall be con-
structed across all street and alley intersections or portions
thereof, between the pointsq on the grades, at the elevations and
along the lines of said sewers, together with manholes, cast iron
frames and coversq and other appurtenancesq all as shown upon the

adopted by Resolution No.115 (6f the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beachq and on file in the office of the City
Engineer of said City, and in further accordance with Specifi-
cations No. 27 adopted by Resolution No. 97 of the Board of
Trustees of said City and on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City.
Reference is hereby made to said plans and profiles, and to
said specifications for a more complete and particular description
of said work.

For all purposes of this proceeding that certain portion of
a public street commonly known asd designated as Coast Boulevard
Place in the City of Newport °each, and described as being 12.50
feet northeasterly and southwesterly of the following described
center line of a street 25 feet in width, beginning at a point in
the northwesterly line of 30th. Street, which point is 32.50 feet
northeasterly of the northerly corner of said Nth. Street and
the Coast Boulevard, measured along the northwesterly line of
said 3Gth. Street; thence North 37 degrees, 13 minutes, 3G seconds
West, 17.46 feet to the beginning of a curve with a radius of
1188.78 feet; thence northwesterly around a circular curve with
the aforesaid radius of 1188.78 feet, a distance of 212 feet
measured along said curve to a point, which point is at the
intersection of the northeasterly line of the Coast Boulevard
and the center line of said street 25 fleet in width, herein
described; said described street being 25 feet in width, is
herein referred to and designated as Coast Boulevard Place, and
the name thereof is hereby declared to be and established as
Coast Boulevard Place and so referred to.
SECTION TWO.
That the public interest and convenience require and it is the
intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach
to order the following work to be done,. to wit:
That a reinforced concrete septic tank, together with
building, and other appurtenances; also a reinforced concrete
pumping station, designated as Pumping Station No.l, together
with buildings , motors, pumps and other appurtenances; also
a sludge bed, together with pipes and other appurtenances, all
shall be constructed in accordance with Plans Numbered 239, 24G,
241 and 242, adopted by Resolution No. 115 of the Board of
Trustees of said City and on file in the Office of the City

Engineer of said City, and infurther accordance with Specification

No. 27, adopted by Resolution No. 97 of the Board of Trustees of

said City and on file in the dffice of the City Clerk of said

City, and on the following described property and rights of way

owned by said City and situated outsdie of the corporate boundary

lines of said City, to wit:

SECTION FIVE.
Notice is hereby given that serail bonds to represent unpaid
assessments, and bear interest at the rate of seven per cent per
annum, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by the
Improvement Bond Act of 1915, the last installment of which bonds
shall mature fourteen years from the second day of July next

succeeding nine months from their date.

• 2 It is hereby determined and notice is hereby given that any
3 and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or
4 improvement above mentioned may appear before the said Board
• 5 of Trustees on the 2nd, day of September, 1919, at the hour of
6 7:30 o'clock P.M. of said day at the regular meeting place 00
7 said Board of Trustees in the City Hall of said City, and show
8 cause why said proposed imporvements should not be carried out
9 in accordance with this Resolution.
