Section 3 The Street @uperin.endent of the City of Newport Beach shall, upon the passage of this resolution, cause to be cons- ioucus- ly posted along the line of said contemplated improvement at not more than 300 feet in distance .apart but not less than 3 in all, notice of the passage of this resolution of intention. Said notices shall be headed "NOTICE OF PUBLIC IT RV in letters of not less than one (1) inch in length, shall in legible characters state the fact of passarre of this resolution, its date, and briefly the improvement proposed and referred to this resolution for further N particulars. He shall also cause a notice similar in substance to be published by 4 successive insertions in the Newport idews, a weekly newspaper ,published and circulated in the City of Newport Beach, and which Ne ort ivews is hereby designated for that pr pose. All acts and 1rroceedings had and done under this reso- lution and in the closin., in part of Bwy Avenue as hereby described, sh_,ll be done and taker, under and pursuant to an act of the le islature of the State of California, entitled as follows: An act to provide for laying out, opening, extending, widening, straightening, or clos- ing up in .hcle or in part any street, square, lane, alley, court or place within municipal- ities, and to condemn and acquire any and all land and property necessary or convenient for that purpose: Approved :larch 6, 1835. an all acts amendatory t':ereof.
