24 deem that they have now acquired jurisdiction to order the said alley
25 vacated, closed, and abandoned:
26 Therefore, be it resolved that all that certain alley lying
4P27 immediately north of,parallelwith, along and adjoining the north line
28 of Lots 1 -2 -3 in Block 119 of the First Addition to T,,ewport Beach, as
29 the same appearsupon a map recorded in Book 3, page 9, of Miscellane-
30 ous Maps, records of Orange County, California, be and the sans is
31 hereby vacated, abandoned and closed, and shall henceforth cease to
32 be an alley or public way of the city of Newport Beach.

Whereas, on the 30th day of October, 1922, the Board of

Trustees of the city of Newport Beach passed and adopted Resolution

of Intention No. 207 to close, vacate and abandon a certain alley
10
bn the cityof Newport Beach, h reinafter described; and

Whereas, NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK was duly posted and rub -

lished as provided by law pursuant to said Resolution of Intention

Whereas, certain persons interested objected to the clos-

ing, vacating or abandoning of said alley and the Board of Trustees

fixed the hour of 7:30 o'clock of January 29th, 1923, at the council

chamber of said Board of Trustses in the City gall of the cityof

Newport Beach as the time and place for hearing said objections, and

notice thereof was duly given by the Clerk, and

Resolved, that the work herein ordered to be done is
fort',-.e closing up, vacating and abandoning an alley and that no
assdssrnent is necessary and that no land need be taken therefor,
and is without cost or expense, and that no commissioners be ap-
pointed to assess benefits or damages.
I hereby certify the foregdrg resolution was duly intro-
duced before the Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach at
a regular meeting thereof held on theh day of �, 1923,
