City of Ne.Vport Beach on "+ednesday, the fourth day of April, 1S28
Pursuant to the provisions of the Act of the .Legislature of June
11, 1913 relr.tin` to the annexation of territory to ::unicipalities
and found in the statutes of 1913 on Page 587 as subsequently
amended, at shich election there was submitted the question of
nhether aertain territory hereinafter described should be annexed
to and incorporated in and made a -part of said City of Yem*oort
Beach, and
.,herea.s, it ppears from the canvas of the returns of
said election held in the territory proposed to be annexed rhich
said territory is described as follows:
Begin:.ing at a corner in the present boundary
line of the City of lienport Beach, : ,rhich corner
is at the intersection of the center line of
.testa :inster Avenue and the center line of 15th
Street, as said Westminister Avenue and 15th
Street are laid out and shorn upon a :tap of
First Addition to PTeNport Heights, as per map
thereof recorded in miscellaneous ::aps, Book 4,
Page 94, Records of Orange County, California;
thence northnesterly along the center line of
15th Street, as said l5th Street is laid out
and shown upon a :tap of Tro.ct No. 27, as re-
corded in :'iscelleneous ::a.ps, Book 9, Page 26,
.Records of Orange County, California., and
Tract Uo. 44 -3., as recorded in - 'iscellaneous :'.a.ns,
Book 17, Page 14, Records of Orange County,
California, to its intersection =iith the south-
easterly line of the Southern ?Fcific Rail,.ray
Cornpanyfs right-of-way; thence southeesterly
and southerly along the southeasterly and
easterly line of the Southern Pacific Ra.il-
vay Company's rif;ht -of -ray to its inter-
section �7ith the -)resent northerly boundary

1 Therefore, the City Council of the City of lie -port Beach
2 hereby resolve that said territory is not annexed for any purpose
3 to the said City of Zewport Beach and it is hereby ordered that a
4 record be made and entered upon the minutes of the Board sho^ing
5 the total number of votes cast upon said question at said election,
6 the total number thereof cast in favor of annexation and the total
7 number thereof cast against annexation.
