RESOLUTION NO. cS
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, DECLARING THAT CER-
TAIN TAXES COLLECTED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6 SHOULD
BE REFUNDED AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRf+TING
THE CITY TREASURER OF SAID CITY TO REFUND
SAID TAXES TO THE PARTIES ENTITLED THERETO.
WHEREAS, certain special taxes were collected by
the City of Newport Beach, from property owners within Municipal
Improvement District No. 6 of said city; and
WHEREAS, all the proceedings had and taken in
said Municipal Improvement District No. 6 have been abandoned
by Ordinance of said city, being Ordinance No. �$b L. ,
reference being made thereto for further particulars, and the
same is by such reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, theCity Council of the City of Newport
Beach has been advised by the City Attorney of said City that
said taxes should be refunded to the property owners paying the
same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That all special taxes collected on
account of Municipal Improvement District No. 6 of the City of
Newport Beach, be refunded to the property owners paying the
same.
Section 2. That the treasurer of said city be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to refund to the
respective parties entitled thereto all special taxes collected
by said city on account of Municipal Improvement District No. 6
of said City.
