WHEREAS, the STANDARD DREDGING COMPANY, a corporation
organized under the laws of the State of New Jersey was, after
proceedings had and taken, as required by law, and pursuant to
notice in7iting sealed proposals, awarded the contract for the
improvement of Newport Harbor, in accordance with plans and
specifications on file herein, relating to Newport Beach Harbor
Bonds of 1929; and
WH[EREAS, the contract has been presented to the City
Couhcil of the City of Newport Beach for their approval and due
execution.
X07,79 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that that certain
contract dated the a0lt day of January, 19301 in which the
Standard Dredging Company,. a corporation organized under the
laws of the State of New Jersey is the party of the first
part, and the.City of Newport Beach, is the party of the sefiond
part, and relating to the doing of certain work of improvement
in Newport Harbor, be and the same is hereby approved as
written.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That the mayor of the City
of Newport Beach, and the Clerk of the City of Newport Beach
be authorized to execute the same in the name of and on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk attest
the same.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City
Council of the,City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the 20th day of January, 1930, by
