RESOLUTION NO. 1S11rr
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney of
the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract in which the
City of Newport Beach agreed to sell certain excess water of
said City to J. A. Beek and L. W. Briggs, upon the conditions,
covenants and restrictions in said contract set forth; and
WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by said
City Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
for its acceptance and approval.
NOIFI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain con-

tract made and entered into theth day of March, 1930, by and
between the City of Newport Beach as the patty of the first
part and J. A. Beek and L. W. Briggs, as the parties of the
second part, and wherein and whereby the City of Newport Beach
agrees to sell certain of its excess water upon certain conditi
restrictions and limitations to said parties of the second part,
be and the same is hereby approved as written.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to sign
said contract on behalf of said City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof, held on the nth
day of March, 1930, by the following vote, to-wit:
