CALIF. jr RESOLUTION N0. 9/• WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. j ,: of the City of Newport Beach, and amendments thereto, the City of Newport Beach is authorized, by Resolution, to permit or prohibit parking on certain streets and alleys, within said City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach deems it necessary and for the best interests of said city that parking of automobiles and other vehicles be permitted on the Westerly one —half of that certain fourteen foot alley lying Easterly of and adjacent to Lot 10 , Block 2 of Newport Bay Tract , as per map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 4, page 16, Records of Orange County, California, excepting the northerly and southerly fifteen feet thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the parking of automobiles and other vehicles be allowed and permitted on the Westerly one —half of that certain fourteen foot alley lying easterly of and adjacent to Lot 10, Block 2 of Newport Bay Tract, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 4, page 16, Records of Orange County, California, excepting the northerly and south- erly fifteen feet thereof; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that appr opri at e s igns be erected by the Chief of Police of the City of Newport Beach, permitting the parking of automobiles and other vehicles in the alley heretofore described.
