WHEREAS, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the doing
of certain sever work near the Hoag Memorial Hospital (Presbyter-
ian) heretofore duly Riven, sealed proposals and bids thereof
were duly received and, at the time and place set for said purpos,
duly opened, and it appearing that the lowest regular and respon.
sible bidder Is James I. Gallagher; and
WHEREAS, there has been duly prevented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain agreement dated
the 9th day of June, 1952, by and between said James I. Galla&W
and the City of Newport Beach, providing for the doing of said
worts t
NOW THEREFORE* BE IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said
James I Gallagher for said work for the total sum of $4,902.00
be, and the same is hereby, awarded to said James I. Gallagher;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City
(Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and instructed to exe-
cute said Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach aid that the CityCleft furnish a duly exe.
outed copy thereof to said James I. Gallagher.

Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of June,
