11 SECTION 1. That it is the intention or the city
12 Council of the City of Newport Beach to call a special election

SECTION 2. That said territory hereby is designated
and identified for such election purposes and for use upon the

SECTION 3. Notice hereby is given that on the
day of 1953a, at the hour of 7930 p.e -, In the
COUVAIIJ bars of the City hall of the City of Newport Beach,
any person owning real property within said territory so proposed
to be annexed and having sng objection to the proposed annexation
may appear before said City Council and show cause ashy such terri-
tory should not be so annexed. Such protest must be in writing
and shall states the name or amass of the owner or owners of the
property affected by such annexation and the location and nrera of
such property in general terms.I If it be found that protest is
not made by owners of rA majority of the separate parcels of proper
within the territory proposed to be annexed,, further proceedings
shall be taken in accordance with the law for the holding of such
special election.
