RESOLUTION No. 4060
WHEREAS, ouraiftxt to Notice Inviting '31do for the con-
struction of a sanitary sewer main in Old County Road Southwest-
erly of Broad Street, heretofore duly given, sealed proposals and
bids thereof were duly received and, at the time and ^;lake set for
said purpose, duly opened, and it appearing that the lowest regu-
lar end "responsible bir�der is The stanfleld'Company; and
`•tiWREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Coun-
oil of the City of Ne")ort Reach €e certain Agreement dated. the
23rd day of March, 1953, by and betreen cald Stanfield Company
and the City of Newport Reach, provi(3.ing for said improvement.
MOVN, THEREFORS, BE IT P!"SOLVTM , that said bid of said
Stanfield Company for said construction of a sanitary sewer main,
In the Cite* of Newport ')each for the total sum of X3,462.28 be,
and the same is hereby, accepted; and
BF ZP FURV2D R SOLVED thrt said contract for said con-
struction in accordance with the plans and speclficationa on file
with the City Clerk of sail City at saill price of 43,462.28 be,
and the same is hereby awarded to the said Rtanfield Company; and
BE IT FURTHM4 RESOLVED that the w-eyor and the City Cl
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the Oity of New-
port Reach and the City Clerk furnish a duly executed copy thereof
to said Stanfield Company.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regular-
ly passed
and adopted by the City Council
