RESOLUTION NO. 4072
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a proposed form of Agreement of Lease
by and between the Newport Beach School District of Orange County
California, as lessor, and the City of Newport Beach, a municipal
corporation of the sixth class, as lessee, wherein and whereby
the Newport Beach School District leases to the City of Newport
Beach a certain custodian cottage owned by the lessor; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
City of Newport Beach and its citizens that the said Agreement
of Lease be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said Agreement of Lease for and in behalf of the said
City of Newport Beach and to deliver a copy thereof, duly ex-
ecuted, to the said Newport Beach School District.
The foregoing resolution was duly passed and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, held on the 27th day of April, 1953, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Smith, Finch, Isbell, Bennett,
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
