RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF =VCRT BEMO
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF
ITS MEMBERS TO FILE WRITTEN ARGU-
MENTS FOR CITY MEASURES,
WHEREAS, an election is to be held in the City
Of Newport Beach on April S, 1958 , at which
there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said
city the following city measures;
PROPOSITION A - POLICE BUILDING a Shall the
City of Newport Reach incur as bonded Indebtedness in the
Principal amount of $1 y0 *000 for the aoquiaition and construe -
tion by said city of a certain municipal improvements to wit:

eluding the acquisition of all furniture, futures, furnishings,

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
NOWPOft P686 a, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That this City Council, being the
legislative body of the City of Newport Roach , hereby
authorizes

members of said body, to file written arguments for each
of the city measures set forth in the recitals hereof in
accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 4 of the

City Clerk after which no arguments for or against said
city measures may be submitted to him.
