A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A CONTRACT FOR THE SALE OF WATER OUTSIDE THE
CITY TO NEWPORT BEACH SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City is selling water to Newport Beach
School District outside of the City of Newport Beach under contr
that will expire on June 18, 1958; and
WHEREAS, the parties are executing a new contract for
the sale of water to begin on July 1, 1958, for the term of one
year; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that a short -term contract be
entered into to authorize the sale of water from June 19 to June
30, 1958, inclusive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed con-
tract for the sale of water from June 19 to June 30, 1958,
inclusive, be approved, in which the City agrees to sell excess
water for said period in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinances numbered 292 and 352.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized and directed to execute said contract on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach.
This Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 12th day of May,
1958, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers,
Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None

the foregoing Resolution No. 4800 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 12th day of May , 19 54 by the 'following
vote, to wit:
