• 2 A•RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
• 3 CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING AND
DETACHED GARAGE AT BIG CANYON RESERVOIR SITE
4 LOCATION, NORTH OF CORONA DEL MAR., EAST OF
MACARTHUR BOULEVARD

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
7
consisting of the construction of a single family dwelling and
8
detached garage at Big Canyon Reservoir Site Location, North of
9
Corona Del Mar, East of MacArthur Boulevard, in the City of Newport
10
Beach, California, in accordance with the plans and specifications
11
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 19th day of March,
12
1959, and publicly opened and declared; and
13
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
14
for such construction work is Gentosi Bros.;
15
NOIJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Gentosi
16
Bros. in the amount of $9,448.00 be accepted and that the contract
17
for the construction work be awarded to said Gentosi Bros.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
19
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
20
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
21
of Newport Beach,.and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish ar
22
executed copy to the successful bidder.

This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
24
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 23rd day of
25
March, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

the foregoing Resolution No. 4949 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of March ► 19 59 by the following
vote, to wit:
