OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
• 3 OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE WITH LIDO ISLE
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

WHEREAS, the
City
of Newport Beach and
Lido Isle
Communit

Association executed a
lease
dated June 11, 1951,
in which
the City
71 leased certain tidelands and uplands abutting thereon on and
81 Lido Isle to Lido Isle Community Association; and
9 WHEREAS, the language of the lease stating the purpose
10 the lease is brief and has been found to be uncertain by the les
1111 and
12 WHEREAS, the lessee has requested the lease be amended
13 by substituting a new paragraph setting out the purposes of the
14 lease; and
15 WHEREAS, the requested language has been submitted to
16 the City's Lands and Leases Committee and approved and an amendment
1711 prepared incorporating the proposed language and executed by the
1811 association;
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
20 the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are
21 hereby authorized and directed to execute the amendment to lease
22 incorporating the language approved by said committee.
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an executed copy of the
24 amendment be forwarded to the Lido Isle Community Association.
25 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
26 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 23rd day of
27 March, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and ,aaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4951 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of March 7 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:

Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
